Do All in the Name of the Lord Jesus, 1-17-2021

Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, Colossians 3:17

I.        Regardless of an individual’s relationship to God, at the name of Jesus everyone
          will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (See Philippians 2:9-11)

II.      The name of the Lord Jesus, embracing all that He is, all that He has done, and all
         that He will do, brings salvation to anyone who believes in Him
         (See Romans 10:9-13)

III.     For the Christian, bearing the name of the Lord Jesus reflects the ongoing
         dependence on Christ, a continuous calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus 
         (See I Corinthians 1:1-2)

IV.     For the Christian, bearing the name of Christ means representing Christ to one
         another and to the world in all that we say and all that we do (See Colossians 3:17)
